School and Day Care visits
to Farview Farms

Group rates $ 5.00 per person -
Reservation required, $ 50. Minimum.Teacher and 1 chaperone free
Learn about and enjoy petting -
Miniature horses, donkey, goats, rabbits, chicks, doves, chicks, more!
Take home -
A pumpkin in the fall, a corn plant in the spring, a coloring book in winter & a white homing pigeon to release at school – only when the weather is warm.
Have fun with -
A hay ride, educational & fun hands-on with a variety of farm animals, information on crops, soils, and tractors.
Bring –
Extra warm coats, hats, gloves, stick-on name tags, our map, a snack or lunch, comfortable walking shoes.
Optional additional activities –
Additional unsupervised (by farmhands) activities are available at no additional charge, if you’d like to come early or stay later. Some of these activities are: practice calf roping with plastic calf head, Funny Farm, volleyball, giant water-balloon slingshot, take a nature walk and gather pine cones, etc. for an arts & crafts project back in class, penny hunt (bring pennies!), football tire toss, and basketball.
Hand led pony rides – each child MUST wear a helmet. Additional charge of $ 3.
For planning purposes –
We are booking classes at 9:30, 11:00 & 1:00, with each class spending 1.5 hours on their farm tour. For older kids, we have a Chatres Labyrinth to walk,- (ask for a classroom exercise), a "Survivor" course and we can give a dowsing demonstration. Please fill out the application to reserve your time and date, as we will fill up quickly. A covered picnic area with hand washing area and restrooms is available. Clean, safe, new.
